Richard “Rich” Haberle is a litigation support professional and community advocate based in Florida, known for combining meticulous legal skills with deep compassion for people and animals in crisis. Colleagues and community leaders consistently describe him as selfless, relentlessly dedicated, and one of the most caring and giving individuals they have ever met.
Growing up without many advantages shaped how Rich sees the world. He understands what it feels like to be underestimated or overwhelmed, and he has built both his career and his community work around making sure others do not stay stuck there.
From early on, Rich treated education as his pathway to create change. He earned President’s List honors nearly every semester at Camden County College and became a lifetime member of the Psi Beta Honor Society. While working full‑time in the judiciary and volunteering with several charitable organizations, he completed his undergrad with a 3.9 GPA from the University of Pennsylvania, and later received dual Master's degrees in Leadership and Business Administration.

For Rich, community service is not a side project; it is the backbone of his life. He has organized fundraisers for elderly pet adoptions, raised money so children at his former elementary school could afford lunches, and devoted countless hours to local nonprofits serving vulnerable people and animals.
He plays active roles with organizations such as Southwest Florida Horse Rescue, Senior Paws Sanctuary, Valerie’s House, and Calusa Tower, and he serves as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for children who have experienced abuse and sexual assault. Community leaders credit him with uniting diverse groups, building new programs and policies, and consistently showing up where the need is greatest, often despite his own challenges.

Professionally, Rich works in litigation support and family law, partnering with attorneys, judges, and self‑represented litigants to bring order, empathy, and strategic thinking to complex, emotionally charged cases. He is known for staying calm under pressure, mastering details, and keeping the human impact of each case at the center of his work.

Additionally, he recently completed his first e-book, "The Complete Florida DIY Handbook."
Rich is a current resident of Charlotte County, Florida and enjoys spending time at home on his ranch along with his two long hair chihuahua puppies, his horse Sassy, and a slew of other animals. Above all, Rich is a family oriented human, and has been fortunate to have strong emotional ties and close friendships with his cousins and extended family members, which he cherishes beyond measure.
